Recently turned 160 years since the birth of Vincent Van Gogh.

In my opinion, this anniversary was a sluggish, although this artist's paintings remain the most expensive, and posters of his sunflowers - the most popular.
People love all bright.

Недавно исполнилось 160 лет со дня рождения Винсента Ван Гога.
На мой взгляд этот юбилей прошел как-то вяло, хотя картины художника остаются самыми дорогими, а постеры его подсолнухов - самыми популярными.
Люди любят все яркое.
Хотя Ван Гога нельзя считать первооткрывателем. Клод Моне, например, написал подсолнухи раньше. А уж после отметились практически все известные художники. Среди них Густав Климт, Эгон Шиле, Сальвадор Дали, Поль Гоген, Фернандо Ботеро...
